Colton Washburn

As a Product Engineer at X-Hab 3D, Colton contributes in enhancing the functionality and user experience of our next-generation 3D printing systems. With a background in aerospace engineering and hands-on experience in construction, Colton brings a unique perspective to the design and development of additive manufacturing technologies.

 During his time with the Penn State S.M.E.L.T. team, Colton worked on the "Lunar Forge: Producing Metal Products on the Moon" project. Penn State was one of seven university teams selected by NASA to develop their proposal, which involved designing a microwave system to smelt metal on the moon. This work deepened his passion for transformative manufacturing solutions and the work being done at X-Hab 3D.

Colton has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State. At X-Hab 3D, he is dedicated to developing products that not only meet but exceed the evolving needs of the industry, ensuring that every project delivers exceptional performance and user satisfaction.
